Where to Find the Size on Your Apple Watch.
Look at the engraving on the rear of the watch. If you are unsure of the generation, check Model Number in the paired iPhone's Watch app under My Watch, General, About. Tap that field to reveal the model identifier beginning with A, then use Apple's identification list.
Do not substitute a band length, wrist measurement, or an estimate from the display width.

Is band size the same as case size?
No. A band's length or fit range is not a substitute for the watch's case size and model. Use the watch identification details when selecting a rigid handheld case.
Can I choose the next size up?
Do not choose an unlisted size to approximate the fit. Control positions and the way the watch is held need to match. Ask support if the exact option is not available.
Are all watches with the same millimeter number interchangeable?
Do not assume that they are. Check the actual model combination in the fit list. A repeated size number is not evidence that every case opening and fitting edge will align.
Does a 49mm listing cover every Ultra generation?
Only the generations named in that case's confirmed compatibility list are covered. Read the listed models rather than extending the claim to every watch with a similar name.
Can I modify a case to make it fit?
Do not force or modify it to fit an unconfirmed watch. Stop if the orientation or openings do not align, and ask for the correct option before proceeding.
